The Hague requested 45 years in prison/ Hashim Thaçi's son reacts: Justice, not politics

Endrit Thaçi, the son of former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi, has responded after the Hague prosecutor requested 45 years in prison for the former KLA leaders in the final phase of the trial.

Through a post on social media, Endrit Thaçi has published a poster with the inscription "Justice, not politics", for a protest on February 17, at 2:00 PM, at "Skënderbeu" Square in Pristina.

The final phase of the trial at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague against former KLA leaders has begun today, where the defendants and the defense will have the opportunity to address the trial panel with their submissions.

Former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi, have been in custody in The Hague since November 2020./ CNA
