The Hague Trial/ Ali Ahmeti: It started with Dick Marty's slander, we will strive for the purity of the KLA

DUI leader Ali Ahmeti spoke today regarding the trial taking place in The Hague against former KLA leaders.

During a live broadcast on the "Opinion" show, Ahmeti said that the process began with the slander of former Swiss senator Dick Marty, made by the Serbian and Russian secret services.

According to Ahmeti, the KLA war was imposed, due to the injustices and murders committed in those years.

"This work began with director Dick Marty, who wrote hundreds of pages, reflecting the slanders made by the Serbian Secret Service in collaboration with the Russian one, to denigrate the KLA and our just war, which was imposed, we did not choose it.

I was one of the organizers in 1981 of the launch of the illegal movement and I know that all means of terror were used on us students. The streets of Yugoslavia were bloodied by the youth of Kosovo.

"The entire people have been tortured and persecuted. So the war was imposed, despite Marty's claims, we will try our best to protect the purity and integrity of the KLA," Ahmeti said. /CNA
