"We are ready to build housing for the Palestinians"/ Trump offers solution for Gaza

President Donald Trump revealed that he has spoken with the king of Jordan about the possible construction of housing and the relocation of more than 1 million Palestinians from Gaza to neighboring countries. Jordan, an American ally, could be one of the countries that will welcome Palestinians, while Trump also called on Egypt to find a solution for 2.39 million Palestinian refugees.

Trump stressed that Gaza is currently uninhabitable due to the war, while he is expected to help Jordan and Egypt build housing blocks to host Palestinian refugees.

"Something has to happen, but Gaza is a ruined place right now. Almost everything is destroyed and people are dying there, so I would rather get involved with some of the Arab nations and build housing in another place where I think they can live in peace for a change," Trump said. /CNA
