Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti stressed at a meeting in Llabjan, Artana, that with him at the helm, the era of illegal institutions in Kosovo has ended. Kurti stated that those who governed Kosovo before him had left the country in pieces.

"Those others had made Kosovo, as a budget and as a territory and as institutions, into pieces. They themselves are in pieces. Don't mess with them at all, finally, with our government, the thesis that bargaining with Serbian structures and working for the Republic of Kosovo is possible has ended."

It is not possible to bargain with the structures of Serbia and to commit to an independent state. These two things exclude each other. Our people have a very good expression that says 'he who tries to keep two pumpkins under one arm has another pumpkin around his neck.'

In independent Kosovo, 28 parallel municipalities and 5 of their districts operated. With our government, the era of municipalities and illegal Serbian institutions in the Republic of Kosovo ends.

"Ten days ago, we closed the parallel municipalities of Serbia for Lipjan, Obiliq, Fushë Kosovë, Vushtrri, Novëbrdo, Artana, Kamenica...so many illegal structures and so many criminal circles there were, dear citizens of Artana, that sometimes the impression is created that there were more illegal, parallel and criminal ones than state offices," Kurti said. /CNA
