A very serious incident has occurred in Paris, where a 14-year-old was stabbed to death by two teenagers aged 16 and 17.

French media reports that the two teenagers stabbed the 14-year-old after he refused to give them his cell phone.

As the minor was leaving football practice in the evening, two people demanded his phone. When he refused to hand it over, the 14-year-old was stabbed in the shoulder.

A friend of his who was at the scene provided first aid and was the same one who helped authorities identify the perpetrators, the prosecution announced.

The two teenagers, residents of Paris, have been arrested and risk being sentenced to life imprisonment./CNA
