At least three people were injured and 100 tons of humanitarian aid were destroyed after a Russian drone attack on a warehouse in the southeastern city of Zaporizhia in Ukraine in the early hours of Saturday.

The wounded included two police officers and one civilian, according to local officials. Damage from the attack is estimated at about $3 million. The aid was planned to be provided to internally displaced people, as well as residents in frontline areas of the war.

Shops, a multi-storey building and a public transport station were also reportedly damaged in the attack.

"Now everything is destroyed, two days ago we received help from 5 trucks. There is damage worth approximately 3 million dollars here," said an official.

In addition to Zaporizhzhia, the Kharkiv, Donetsk and Dnipro regions were also targeted in an attack consisting of a total of 58 Shahedattack UAVs, as well as various types of imitation drones, the Ukrainian air force reported.

43 attacks were neutralized, with 23 downed and 20 others having their signals jammed.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military also reported that it had carried out drone strikes overnight targeting two Russian chemical plants that were linked to the production of explosives./CNA
