Serious in Spain/ Traffickers threaten with weapons and throw immigrants into the sea, 4 victims

A serious event has occurred in Spain. Four migrants have died on a beach in Cadiz in southern Spain, authorities announced Thursday. 

According to preliminary data, the boatmen threw 4 immigrants into the sea while they were transporting them. The latter could not escape. 

The boat was carrying a total of 27 migrants, 23 of whom made it to shore alive, Reuters reports.

Images published on social media and broadcast by local media show a black boat drifting in high tide. 

"We saw a boat arrive, but they weren't trafficking drugs, but migrants. Suddenly, they started jumping and some jumped. There are even images showing that one of the bosses was threatening the migrant with a gun to jump into the sea" , said eyewitness Javier Gonzalez./ CNA
