Autoritetet austriake kanë sekuestruar disa armë në Vjenë që dyshohet se janë të lidhura me Hamasin. Lajmin e ka konfirmuar qeveria austriake ditën e sotme, ku kanë deklaruar gjithashtu se mund të përdorenin për sulme të mundshme terroriste në Evropë.

“Sipas gjendjes aktuale të hetimit, objektivat e këtyre sulmeve kanë qenë me shumë gjasa institucione izraelite ose hebraike në Evropë”, thuhej në deklaratën e qeverisë austriake.

Ndërkohë, një britanik 39-vjeçar që dyshohet se ka lidhje me arsenalin e armëve u vu në pranga tre ditë më parë në Londër. Armët dhe personi i arrestuar janë pjesë e një hetimi të koordinuar ndërkombëtarisht nga Drejtoria e Austrisë për Sigurinë e Brendshme dhe Inteligjencën (DSN), mbi një organizatë terroriste globale me lidhje me grupin militant të Hamasit.
