The Israeli army carried out rocket attacks near the Indonesian hospital in Gaza.

As a result, the hospital received some damage, but no injuries were reported.

An Indonesian foreign ministry spokesman, Lalu Muhammad Iqbal, said the target of the attack was the Taliza'tar area, which is "very close" to the hospital.

Iqbal said three Indonesian volunteers were in the basement when the attack happened, but thankfully were not injured.

"Indonesia once again condemns the barbaric attacks on civilians and civilian objects, especially humanitarian objects in Gaza," the spokesman added.

Sarbini Abdul Murad of the Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C), which runs the hospital, told Indonesian newspaper Republika: "The attack was very close to the Indonesian Hospital, but not a direct attack on the main building."

The Indonesian hospital in Gaza was built to serve the medical needs of Palestinians in the enclave, according to Indonesia's foreign ministry.

The hospital may close this Friday, due to the lack of fuel.
