The Special Prosecutor's Office of Kosovo announced on Wednesday that two people suspected of "espionage" have been arrested.
In a press release, the Prosecutor's Office said that the two Kosovar citizens were arrested on Wednesday after a months-long investigation and that it charges them with the criminal offense of "espionage".
"Today, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police and the KIA, raids were conducted in two locations in Kosovo and two persons with Kosovar citizenship were arrested, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "espionage", from article 124 of the KPRK. the notice says.
They were detained for 48 hours by the prosecutor's decision.
The prosecution said that it will undertake "all the necessary investigative actions" against them.
