Maduro's arrest/ Venezuelan journalist reveals details: US

Venezuelan journalist Viktor Amaya has given a statement to an Albanian media outlet following the arrest of Nicolas Maduro.

Regarding the Venezuelan president, journalist Amaya said that the US has developed electronic pressure to blind defense systems.

Amaya stated that during the operation to remove Maduro, there was military equipment that did not work. The journalist further said that during the arrest of Maduro there was a lot of resistance and according to the local government, 32 people lost their lives.

 

" There was a lot of interest and we know that the US has developed electronic pressure to blind Venezuela's defense systems. During the attack, there were military equipment that no longer worked. Maduro was taken inside his residence, there was a lot of resistance. The Colombian government says that 32 people who were protecting Maduro lost their lives during the attack. We have no confirmation from the Venezuelan government... "We have almost 4 million militia ready to fight", but this turned out to be unrealistic as Maduro had declared. So they were caught off guard. The attack continued for 2 hours, but the detention and arrest of Maduro was done within a few minutes , "said Amaya./CNA
