The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, visited on Thursday the families of three police officials, whom the Kosovo authorities believe were kidnapped by the Serbian authorities.

According to the announcement of the Prime Minister's Office, Kurti visited the family members of Beqir Sefa, Rifat Zeka and Shemë Mustafa, in Mitrovica, in the village of Peran in the Municipality of Podujeva, and in the village of Letanc in the Municipality of Podujeva, respectively.

He told the families of the police officers that the Liaison Office of the Republic of Kosovo in Serbia is in contact with the institutions there to get a lot of information about them.

Kurti made these visits, a day after the arrest of the police officers.

The Kosovo authorities believe that it is a matter of kidnapping in the territory of Kosovo, while the authorities in Serbia have stated that they were arrested in the Serbian territory.

The Kosovo Police has considered this act "classic kidnapping", and the case has been severely punished by this institution.
