Mickoski said that his government will not do anything contrary to the national interests and strategic orientations of the citizens, alluding to the dispute with Bulgaria and not changing the Constitution to include the Bulgarian community in it. According to Mickovski, the government will never issue a decree for the amendment of the Constitution, because this would be a humiliation and shame for the citizens of North Macedonia.

"The government's focus remains on EU integration, but not with an ultimatum. As a government, we will not withdraw from the European path, if necessary we will talk with anyone, we will talk as much as necessary to reach an agreement and compromise that will be dignified and that will not hurt feelings again", he said. Political analyst Xelal Neziri thinks that during the first quarter the Macedonian government has been uncoordinated to make reforms.
