100 days in power, the new government of Skopje

Mickoski said that his government will not do anything contrary to the national interests and strategic orientations of the citizens, alluding to the dispute with Bulgaria and not changing the Constitution to include the Bulgarian community in it. According to Mickovski, the government will never issue a decree for the amendment of the Constitution, because this would be a humiliation and shame for the citizens of North Macedonia.

"The government's focus remains on EU integration, but not with an ultimatum. As a government, we will not withdraw from the European path, if necessary we will talk with anyone, we will talk as much as necessary to reach an agreement and compromise that will be dignified and that will not hurt feelings again", he said. Mickovski.

Neziri: Uncoordinated government

Political analyst Xelal Neziri thinks that during the first quarter the Macedonian government has been uncoordinated to make reforms.

"We have a functioning of the government that is contrary to the three pillars of its program: integration into the European Union, economic development and the fight against corruption", says Neziri, underlining that the government has failed to approve the constitutional changes, even though the beginning of the mandate would be an appropriate time to do them, because it would not cause so much political damage to the parties that make up the governing coalition.

Arsovski: Answers are expected from the government

The government will find it very difficult to succeed and make changes in the negotiation framework, political analyst Petar Arsovski thinks, commenting on the government's efforts to reach a new agreement with Brussels for the continuation of the negotiations.

"The internationals do not understand our need to review this package, they consider it a done deal and expect us to finish some responsibilities taken such as changing the constitution. The government must be honest and must reduce its strategy to absurdity. The government after 100 days of operation simply has to give an answer to the question of how to achieve European integration without the French proposal", says Arsovski. Filipçe: The most incompetent government since the independence of the state

"We have 100 days of excuses instead of solutions, isolation instead of integration and a society dominated by uncertainty. The parallelism between promises and reality is grim. Macedonia led by VMRO-DPMNE will not be proud." - said the leader of the largest Macedonian opposition party, SDSM, Venko Filipce. According to him, the first 100 days of the government is "a period of scandals, disappointments, promises of broken and stuck. Venko Filipçe accused the government of breaking promises, party administration and lowering the standard of living. "The country is going in the wrong direction", said the president of SDSM Venko Filipçe.

Criticism from the Albanian opposition

The Albanian opposition represented through the European Front calls the governance of VMRO-DPMNE and VLEN 100 days of failure, humiliation and contempt. The criticism is mainly related to the Albanian representatives in the government regarding the language law, the removal of Albanians from institutions and the abrogation of the balancer for employment in the state administration./ DW
