A 34-year-old man was detained in the capital of Romania, Bucharest, on June 3, after allegedly attacking the entrance of the Israeli Embassy with a Molotov cocktail.

As a result, a small fire is said to have broken out, and no damage has been reported.

The suspect has been detained by counterterrorism officials.

There are reports that he tried to set himself on fire in front of the embassy.

The Israeli embassy told Radio Free Europe that the suspect is believed to be of Syrian origin.
