Study: Despite trade tensions and tariffs, EU-US trade remains strong

Trade between the European Union and the United States remains very strong, despite trade tensions and new tariffs. A recent study shows that economic relations between the world's two largest economies continue to grow.

In 2025, trade in goods between the EU and the US reached a record of around $1.05 trillion.

Although the US has imposed tariffs on some European products, trade exchanges remain large and economic chains are highly interconnected.

The study warns that an economic split between the EU and the US would be very costly, especially for Europe, because businesses and investments are deeply integrated.

Experts also point out that many American and European companies invest and produce in each other's territory, a large part of trade is related to the pharmaceutical industry, machinery and technology, for this reason, political tensions have not caused a major decline in real trade.
