Government work, although it continues to be a favorite and interesting opportunity, does not seem to have had the same luster as it did last year.

In 2023, for 1082 vacant positions in the administration, which were announced for filling by the Department of Public Administration, 14584 applications were submitted.

This coincides with an average of 13.5 applications per job vacancy, which again remains a high level of interest, but down from 2022, when it was 17.9 applications per job, a 24% drop.
