The Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania held a meeting today where it was decided to approve the annual report for 2025.

Report that includes macroeconomic developments, monetary policies or developments in the banking system.

The announcement made states that the Supervisory Council approved the use of the Bank of Albania's profit for 2025.

At the meeting of March 4, 2026, the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania considered and decided:

• Approval of the Annual Report of the Bank of Albania for 2025

The annual report constitutes a legal obligation of the Bank of Albania, through which accountability is achieved before the Assembly of Albania and communication with the financial system, the media and the public. It constitutes the most important document that, in a transparent manner, informs the Assembly on the decision-making of the Supervisory Council and the activity of the Bank of Albania, in fulfilling its institutional, monetary, operational and development objectives.

The report, among other things, reflects:

• general macroeconomic developments in the country;

• monetary and foreign exchange policy pursued by the Bank of Albania;

• developments in the banking system and potential risks facing financial stability;

• supervisory, licensing and regulatory activity;

• monetary issuance, payment system, foreign exchange reserve management, statistical, research, communication and public education activities;

• human resources management;

• internal control activity;

• the medium-term objectives of the institution.

During today's meeting, the Supervisory Council reviewed and approved the use of the Bank of Albania's profit for 2025.

The Supervisory Council was also informed of other information related to the daily functional and operational activities of the Bank of Albania.
