On January 4 of this year, Flutura Hoxholli says that she went from Cërrik to Durrës to celebrate her brother's birthday. After the ceremony, she leaves with her husband and son towards the bus.

He gets off the bus to buy a bottle of water, but as soon as he gets off he is attacked by a pack of 10 dogs that jumped on top of him and injured him at the point that ended the emergency of the Durrës Regional Hospital.

Flutura Hoxholli: On January 4, 2024, it was my brother's birthday, we celebrated it here in Durrës, and when we finished the birthday, we went to get on the Gramsh bus. I got into the bus, took our seats, it took another 10 minutes for the bus to start. I went out with my husband. "I will smoke a cigarette", he said, "and you take a can of water". I went to get the water bottle. A dog attacked me from behind. I turned to face the dog, so that it wouldn't eat me. He left me once, then after him, 10 dogs came at once and attacked me. One grabbed my dress. The others also grabbed me by the dress, but the dress was a strong piece and they could not tear it from me. They got on my chest and knocked me down. I had no one around.

Journalist: Where was your husband at that moment?

Flutura Hoxholli: It was on the bus.

Journalist: How far were you from the bus?

Flutura Hoxholli: I can't say for sure, but my husband didn't see me at the moment. I could not move and cried: "Help, help!" They heard some men in taxis, they came and drove the dogs away. Then I found a girl there. He called the ambulance, got a can of water, gave me some water, but I couldn't get up. I stayed there until the ambulance came.

Journalist: You arrived at the Regional Hospital of Durrës by ambulance. What happened then, do you remember?

Flutura Hoxholli: Yes, I remember. They entered me directly, they did a graph. From the x-ray, the doctor who was on duty, doubted what it looked like on the x-ray and put me directly in the scanner. Then he said to the scanner: "You have damaged a vertebra." From the weight that you fell, it was crushed and broken."

Journalist: What did the doctors tell you?

Hoxholli butterfly: Compression of the L2, vertebra L2, very close to the spine. I mean, I almost escaped the spine, because I could have been paralyzed today.

At the Durrës Hospital, no one interrogates him, so he reports to the municipality.
