Such is the case of the Ardenica Monastery, which is in danger of collapsing due to soil erosion and the consequences of the earthquake of November 26, 2019.

The director of the Historical Museum of Lushnja, Niko Ferro, in an interview with the media said that emergency intervention is needed.

"The earthquake of November 29 has left consequences. The monastery suffered major damage to the western wall. Immediate intervention is needed. This 10-century property is in danger of collapsing! It is necessary to intervene to preserve the memory of the first Albanian school and the library. Gjergj Kastrioti Skenderbeu laid a wreath there", he said, while making a direct appeal to Prime Minister Edi Rama.
