CNA has disclosed the assets of politicians, prosecutors, judges or even officials from time to time. Today, CNA is bringing the assets of the two thieving directors of Erion Veliaj, Marigen Qatos and Taulant Tuša.

Tusha was arrested on December 8, 2023 for the Tirana incinerator affair, while a few weeks ago, in March of this year, the Special Prosecutor's Office issued an arrest warrant for the "5D" affair.

For corruption in the Municipality of Tirana with the "5D" company, Mariglen Qato was also arrested on March 28, by order of SPAK.

But while SPAK says that the directors of Veliaj have benefited from the taxes of Albanians with the tenders received from the Municipality of Tirana, Qato and Tusha have made few statements in the Property Declaration Inspectorate.

Qato declared assets only in 2023 and says that he has neither a house nor a car, but only some money in a bank account . He points out that his wife has 2 apartments, 2 garages and a car.

On the other hand, Taulant Tusha made 5 statements, from 2013 to 2016. In the initial statement, he says that he has 2 apartments, 1 car, 36 thousand euros and 10 million Lek in the bank. His wife declares about 12 million ALL in the bank.

In subsequent declarations, Tusha has declared only the income, not mentioning the real estate . Only in 2016, his wife declares that she bought a car for 20,000 euros, the money for which she emphasizes that she has family savings, but has not paid it off.

What should be emphasized is that the directors of Veliaj who are already being accused as thieves have not declared their assets for many years, although they held high public positions.
