Chief Prosecutor Olsian Çela, in his report to the High Council of Prosecution, emphasized that during 2023 he requested the initiation of investigations for disciplinary violations for 2 judicial police officers.

"On the basis of the violations identified in 2023, the Prosecutor General has requested the initiation of investigations for disciplinary violations for 2 officers of the judicial police. The Monitoring Sector, in the Prosecutor General's Office, pursuant to instruction No. 10/2021 "On the exercise of the monitoring function in the prosecution system and cooperation with constitutional and legal institutions", as amended, has monitored, analyzed and evaluated the statistical data extracted from the system Statistics of investigative actions of judicial police officers of the prosecution section and has prepared periodic 3-month summary information for the General Prosecutor about the findings from the monitoring, proposing concrete solutions. 1 thematic inspection was ordered for the accuracy of data entry in the system, at the end of which violations were found by 23 judicial police officers at the Prosecutor's Office. The Court of First Instance of Tirana General Jurisdiction, after getting to know the results of the inspection, requested the correct implementation of the instructions by the judicial police officers and the taking of measures by the leaders to ensure the accuracy of the discarded data", said Çela./ CNA
