He killed his colleague Çaush Saliasi inside the police station/ Ludjan

Ludjan Zaimi, the policeman who killed his colleague Çaush Saliasi, at police station no. 3 in Tirana was sentenced to 35 years in prison.

The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana requested a sentence of as many years for Zaimi, for the murder committed by him on the evening of May 23, 2022.

The hearing was held today in the Tirana court.

How did the event happen? 

The former officer, Ludjan Zaimi, shot his colleague, Çaush Saliasi, 55 years old, 6 times with his service weapon. 

Saliasi was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately he died as a result of his injuries.

As it was reported when the incident happened, the reason was the way of communication between the two police officers at that time. 

Ludjan Zaimi for a long time complained about going to the service with him, where he said that Saliasi bullied him, insulted him, called him 'blind' and did not even spare his family members.

But the complaints were not taken into account and the situation degraded to the loss of the life of Çaush Saliasi.
