He was hit by a car while riding a scooter/ The 38-year-old father of three

A tragic accident took the life of a 38-year-old Albanian, father of three children.

The incident happened yesterday morning in via Tre Case in Tezze sul Brenta.

The 38-year-old had been in Italy for years, where he was equipped with the relevant documentation.

Altin Lekaj lived near the site of the accident in Via Concordia, with his wife, also born in Albania, but an Italian citizen, and their three minor children, a 14-year-old, a 13-year-old and a 9-year-old.

Lekaj was traveling along Via Tre Case in the municipal area of ??Tezze to reach the industrial area of ??Stroppari. Apparently he was on his way to work.

On Via Tre Case, the car in front of him braked and he went into the opposite lane to avoid the collision, but at that moment an Audi passed in front of him, hitting him.

The ambulance went to the scene but he could not resist the injuries and died./ CNA
