Visas/ US Embassy issues important notice to citizens

The U.S. Embassy in Tirana will use a new system for visa appointments starting May 30, 2025.

Through the new service, visa applicants will be able to obtain visa information, pay application fees, schedule and change interview dates, and receive document submission services.

 To implement this new system, visa applicants will temporarily be unable to generate payment slips or make schedule changes from May 19-29.

The U.S. Embassy in Albania emphasizes that all nonimmigrant and immigrant visa interviews that are already scheduled or will be scheduled before May 19, 2025, will remain valid even after the start of the new visa appointment system.

Visa applicants should plan to attend their appointments on the scheduled dates and times./ CNA
