GJKKO demands return of journalist's belongings

A hearing on the seizure of journalist Elton Qyno's belongings was held today at the Special Court.

After the session ended, Qyno said that in today's session, the court ordered the prosecution to return the 54-page document to the journalist, who said he obtained it through a source.

The journalist said that it concerns 54 sheets of statements from defendants in the Criminal Court.

" It is an item with 54 sheets of statements of defendants in the Criminal Procedure Code. This item was found in my apartment and has not been returned, even though the High Court had ordered its return. SPAK insisted on keeping it and not returning it to me as a journalist who had possessed it through the source. We made a request to Duman to return this item, it was rejected. We objected to it in court, the first hearing was held and it decided to give us the right. The court ordered the prosecutor's representative to return this item to us ," said Qyno.
