CNA has carried out an observation of garbage in Tirana, since the capital has been covered with garbage for several weeks.

CNA has found that the bins are overflowing with garbage, so much so that the garbage has become a "mountain" on the ground.

The verifications showed that the garbage was left for a long time without cleaning.

Sources near the Municipality of Tirana told CNA that the center of the capital, the visible area of ??the "Block" and the area where there is movement of young people, are cleaned, while in other areas the garbage is left behind.

CNA has brought images from different areas of Tirana that have "invaded" the road and polluted the entire capital.

Yesterday evening, CNA filmed several other scenes in the capital, specifically on "Mujo Ulqinaku" street, near the Catholic Church on Kavaja Street.

As can be seen from the video, the bins are filled beyond their capacity and the garbage is spilled on the ground. Residents of the area told CNA that this situation aggravated by garbage has been going on for several days, while the Municipality of Tirana has ignored the garbage situation.

The same situation also occurs on Kavaja Street, near the Ministry of Health.

In fact, garbage has not only covered Kavaja Street, but almost every neighborhood of the capital. The municipality of Tirana continues to collect taxes from citizens for cleaning, but also for the capital's non-existent incinerator, despite the fact that the streets are stinking of garbage./ CNA
