A drone with drugs and phones was caught yesterday evening in Peqin prison.

The General Directorate of Prisons has also reacted to this drone captured in the perimeter of the Peqin Prison.

The statement clarifies that the drone was found dropping several packages inside the prison around 20:37 yesterday evening.

"On September 12, 2024, around 8:37 p.m., the security services at the Penal Judgment Execution Institution (IEVP) Peqin detected an aircraft, a drone, that flew at a height of 100-150 meters in the prison territory, where for 1 minute and 20 seconds he threw two packages inside the prison premises. After the aircraft was identified, the security forces of IEVP Peqin were immediately notified, who, together with the Special Forces of the General Directorate of Prisons, carried out detailed checks in the open and closed area of ??the institution of the IEVP Peqin regime. said the statement./ CNA
