The document reveals that the Ministry of Environment has licensed the company "Sokolaj LLC" for the transportation of waste.

In the 4-page document signed by Minister Mirela Kumbaro, it is emphasized that "Sokolaj ShPK" can transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

According to a BIRN report, "Sokolaj LLC" has sold the suspected toxic waste to the company "GS Minerals Doo", registered in Rijeka, Croatia, also owned by the Sokolaj family. ( Read here )
