During an interview on the "World Questions" radio debate organized by the BBC, Lulzim Basha spoke about the departure of young people from the country. During the interview, Basha was asked a simple question by journalist Jonny Dymond: How can he convince a 20-year-old not to leave Albania?! Basha, as a career politician, now left without a party, spoke a lot, but did not give any concrete answer to the youth to keep them in our country.

"Albania has changed more than any other country in the communist camp in the last 34 years. However, today we are in the midst of a crisis of hope and confidence in our country, and the reason is that the political system has failed against the citizens, and especially against the youth. He has done this by concentrating power for himself, opportunities for himself, benefits for himself, at the expense of citizens, at the expense of society, at the expense of public services. There are three main deficiencies as a result of this situation: opportunity, meritocracy, equality before the law. These are the three main absences in Albanian society", said Basha, among other things.

The self-styled Euro-Atlantic democrat spoke of meritocracy and opportunity, the same one who never recognized these virtues during his time leading the Democratic Party. Instead, he armored and led the largest opposition party to the abyss and division among the Democrats./ CNA
