River floods and localized flooding/ IGEUM: High intensity rainfall, here are

This afternoon, Sunday, the 26th, and tomorrow, Monday, the 27th, there will be high-intensity rainfall mainly in the north and center of the country.

According to the forecast by the Institute of Geosciences, in the regions of Shkodër, Kukës, Dibër, Lezhë, Durrës, Tirana, Elbasan and Vlorë there may be flash floods of small mountain rivers and landslides. In urban areas, localized flooding problems may occur in these regions, depending on the condition of the sewerage.

Precipitation:

This afternoon and tomorrow, intense to locally very intense rainfall is expected in the regions of Shkodër, Kukës, Dibër and Lezha, while in the other regions, moderate to locally intense rainfall is expected. Rainfall throughout the country will be accompanied by thunderstorms.

Tomorrow, minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach:

on the coast: 13 / 20°C

in lowlands: 8 / 19 °C

in mountainous areas: 7 / 15 °C
