On September 12, a Special meeting of Supreme Court judges will be held to elect a member of the Constitutional Court.

The meeting will start at 10:00 a.m., while the names of the three candidates for this position have been announced.

They are Ilir Toska, Manjola Xhaxho and Holta Zacaj.

The Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mr. Sokol Sadushi, in implementation of the legal obligations arising from point 3 of article 7/ç of law no. 8577, dated 10.02.2000 "On the organization and functioning of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania" (amended), Article 4 of the Regulation of the Special Meeting of Supreme Court judges for the election of the member of the Constitutional Court, as well as Article 26, point 2 of the law no. 98/2018 "On the organization of the judicial power in the Republic of Albania", decided to call the Special Meeting of the judges of the Supreme Court, to elect the member of the Constitutional Court, on Monday, 12.09.2022, at 10.00. /CNA.al
