Veliaj abandons the Council meeting/ Debates break out: Teliti: You are abusing

Mayor Erion Veliaj, after reporting what he wanted at the Municipal Council meeting, left the meeting.

The member of the DP Municipal Council, Dorian Teliti, asked for the floor to talk about poverty, about economic aid for hundreds of families who are suffering for their bread.

There was a fierce debate between Teliti and the vice president of the Municipal Council, as the latter asked him to stick to the agenda, while Teliti addressed him saying that he is abusing his position.

"This council should apologize to the families who are suffering for their livelihood.

Even today we discuss the strategy. It's embarrassing. You are abusing your duty. You must give the floor to each member.

There are some official requests for information, does it seem normal to you that you do not respond to official letters in the Municipality of Tirana?" said Teliti./ CNA
