"Western Balkans" University will offer scholarships in Bachelor programs for graduates coming from the cities of Kukes, Has, Tropoja and Peshkopia.

The scholarships will be provided by the Chamber of Commerce of the United Kingdom in Tirana, within the "New Perspectives" project, in cooperation with the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Albania.

The president of the university, Ferdinand Gjana, said that these projects motivate many young people to study and choose a better future.

"With a special focus on technology, medicine and business, 'Western Balkans' offers about 25 branches at the master's and bachelor's level for students coming from 15 different countries", he said.

The British Ambassador, Alastair King-Smith emphasized that this is a fantastic opportunity for graduates to stay in their country and learn from the best, as well as to create their future in Albania.

"Everywhere in Albania there is a need for investment, the greatest need is in the north of the country.
