Judge Astrit Kalaja, murdered in the courtroom by Elvis Shkambi, is being escorted to his final resting place today.

From 09:00 to 11:00, state tributes will be held at the Palace of Congresses.

Then homage in the city of Shkodra.

Judge Astrit Kalaja will be laid to rest in his hometown, Shkodra.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Judge Mr. Astrit KALAJA.

Visitation is expected at the "Alba 2000" funeral home, Rruga e Durrës, former Yugoslav Embassy, ??Tirana, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 10:00-13:00 and 16:00-20:00.

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 9:00-11:00, tributes will be held in honor of the deceased at the Palace of Congresses, Tirana.

Visits in the city of Shkodra are expected at the "Bushati" funeral home, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The funeral will take place at 4:00 PM in Stom-Golem, Shkodër ./ CNA
