Meeting in Pogradec/ Xhakolli hosts the mayor of Kostur, cooperation agreement signed

The Mayor of Pogradec, Ilir Xhakoli, hosted today in a meeting the Mayor of Kostur (Kastoria), Giannis Korentsidis.

Through a post on social media, Xhakolli shared footage from the meeting and said it was a friendly and fruitful meeting.

At this meeting, discussions were held on strengthening cultural relations between the two cities and on cooperation in EU-funded projects, with the aim of opening new development horizons for both cities, and it was agreed to sign an agreement that will pave the way for joint youth, sports, and cultural events.

Special attention during the meeting of the two mayors was paid to cooperation with Greek tourist agencies to bring as many visitors as possible to Pogradec, following the successful model of several agencies that have been bringing thousands of German tourists to the city for two years. /CNA
