Murder of 14-year-old in Maliq/ Korça Court leaves perpetrator in prison,

Today, a hearing was held at the Korça Court to determine the security measure for those arrested in the murder of a 14-year-old boy in Maliq a few days ago.

The court has imposed the security measure of 'house arrest' for the author's father's friend, the author with the measure of 'prison arrest' along with his father and uncle, while for the four minors 'obligation to appear under parental supervision'.

Sources inside the courtroom said that the author spoke through tears during the hearing, expressing great remorse.

"I didn't mean to commit murder. It was a momentary quarrel. I am very sorry. Condolences to the family," the author is reported to have said.

The author's lawyer, Ledian Spaho, made statements about the case, emphasizing security measures.

"I express my condolences for the loss of my family members. The court decided that the author should be sentenced to 'prison arrest'. This consequence created by a momentary conflict, even though they are children, the court considered the arrest valid, both for the father and the uncle. The other minors, the court ruled the arrest unlawful, but ordered parental supervision and appearance before the court. The author expressed remorse. He said he did not want this consequence to occur, because he knew that my actions would create this consequence, he expresses his condolences to the family.
