This Friday, the Shkodra AKU, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Taxes, conducted inspections in the wholesale agri-food market in Shkodra. Two work teams participated in this action, which carried out a total of four inspections.

During the inspections, serious violations of fiscal and food laws were discovered. Eight administrative measures were imposed, of which:

-Four fines for trading products without a tax invoice;

-Four fines for failure to issue a vehicle invoice.

The inspection resulted in the seizure of 839 kg of products without tax documentation, which were being traded in violation of the law.

The Tax Directorate has announced that controls in wholesale and retail markets will continue with intensity, to formalize economic activity and protect fair competition. /CNA
