Fire near Gërmenjë park/ There are still active fires, difficult work due to the terrain

The fire situation near the Gërmenja Natural Park appears calm, but there are still active fires.

Active outbreaks are fewer in our territory and more in neighboring territory.

It is learned that around 40 forces from the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Public Health, the Police, municipal service employees and volunteers have been organized in the field.

According to information, the terrain is difficult as it takes about 3 hours to reach the affected area and great care is needed because the area has a lot of ammunition.

Work has been underway for three days to open the road and create firebreaks, in order to monitor the situation and prevent the fire from penetrating the protected area as much as possible./ CNA
