Fires in the country/ Four fires remain active, 3 others under monitoring

The Ministry of Defense has published the latest data from fires in the country.

According to information, in the last 24 hours, a total of 23 fire outbreaks have been identified in the country's territory, of which 4 are active and 3 others are under monitoring.

Completely extinguished fires:

The fires in Gramsh (Dushkut Tekeja, Mali i Kushovës), Vlorë (near the aircraft hangars), Skrapar (Osnat), Përmet, Durrës (Gjuricaj and Shënavlash), Krujë (Virjon and near the Cement Factory), Memaliaj, Shkodër (Prekal and Mali Kolaj), Patos, Delvinë, Elbasan (Shushicë).

Active and monitored outbreaks:

Bulqizë Municipality, Tërnova village: two fires with developments in the Black Lake area and in Valikardhe, where the intervention of firefighting, forestry and municipal forces continues.

Bulqizë Municipality, Val village: hotspot with little development, currently under monitoring by the administrative unit and residents.

Municipality of Fushë Arrëz, villages of Xeth, Kolumri and Trun: several fires out of control, with rugged and difficult terrain. Local structures and 50 Armed Forces forces with a firefighting vehicle are engaged in the field.

Damjan-Fortuzaj (Vaqarr) and Pezë Helmës villages: fires have been minimized, but are being kept under surveillance.

Ibë village, Bërzhitë unit: fire in difficult terrain, without danger to homes, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and the APR.

Kolonjë Municipality, Gërmenj Natural Park: the fire continues to spread towards the border, with the involvement of firefighting, forestry, AdZM, the municipality and 30 soldiers from the Drenova military unit. (Active)
