SPAK clarified the assassination of Ardian Çapjas/ Who was the sniper who

SPAK revealed the assassination attempt on Ardian Çapja, recorded on June 8, 2020, by analyzing the Sky Ecc and Encrochat applications.

From the last SPAK operation, it was learned that the suspected author of this assassination attempt was the sniper Prek Kodra, against whom an arrest warrant was issued, while Suel Çela's group was the orderer.

Prek Kodra has been declared wanted by SPAK in two previous SPAK operations, as he is suspected of being a contract killer involved in several criminal events in Albania and Kosovo.

Originally from the village of Shtoj i Ri in Shkodra, Prek Kodra is considered a high-risk person, suspected of a possible assassination attempt against the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti in 2021.

This was revealed by the e-mails of the former director of the State Police, Gladis Nano, which were made public by the group of Iranian hackers, after the hacking of state institutions.

According to the document of the Anti-Terrorism Unit, Prek Kodra's role in the series of assassinations aimed at the political destabilization of Kosovo was that of the assassin/murderer. He was described as someone who knew how to use even a sniper firearm and was suspected of being involved in several murders in Kosovo and Montenegro.

According to the plan, a KLA commander Ismet Haxha and then the MP Xhavit Haliti would be killed first. A month after the murder of the PDK deputy, Albin Kurti would also be killed to appear as an act of revenge.

However, through a statement to the Kosovar media at the time, Prek Kodra denied all accusations of assassinations against politicians in Kosovo.

"How can I explain, I was just inventing something as if unidentified persons had invented it for me. I only know Albin Kurti from television. You have accused me and are harassing me and my family. For the first time, around 11 o'clock in the morning, I was in Shkodër at a coffee shop and someone called me from Germany and asked me if you were watching the news and started the link. I looked at the link and saw something that I had never imagined in my life." - said Prek Kodra.

He also said that they stopped him in Kosovo when he went to buy a car and they didn't tell him the reasons why they were holding him for hours.

"I was stopped in Kosovo a year ago at customs, on November 24, if I'm not mistaken. I was going to Kosovo to buy a pickup truck. When I was stopped, I was with my daughter's car to buy a pick-up truck for my company. When I went to customs, they stopped me and kept me from 2 in the afternoon until 11 in the evening without telling me why I was stopped. They arrested me at the customs. I had 15 thousand euros with me.

I was taken to Pristina and interrogated by the Department of Serious Crimes. I didn't know why that was happening to me. When they told me that you are suspected of counterfeiting money, but I was sure because I had received it from my company." - declared Prek Kodra.

The media have also reported that Preke Kodra was arrested in the summer of 2011 after he had prevented the holding of local elections in Shkodra and that he was a sympathizer of one of the two major parties in Albania. He was also suspected of having strong ties with the Montenegrin mafia, with his nephew who is alleged to have been involved in narcotic substances and to have had legal problems with this country.

Also, he was declared wanted in 2016, while after checks in his apartment two shotguns and 90 cartridges were found./ CNA
