"Tiranathlon" returns today to the capital for the third year in a row. This sports event, which also coincides with the title of Tirana European City of Sports, unites the three most popular and practiced disciplines in a single competition: swimming, cycling and running.

With the aim of the success and organization of the sports activity "Tiranathlon" in the Helen Park near Lake Farka, the Municipality of Tirana, in cooperation with the Greek Embassy and the State Police, has drawn up a plan of measures for the organization of the movement of vehicles during the race. .

The Municipality of Tirana informs citizens about the restriction of vehicle traffic today (Sunday, 28.05.2023), from 08:00 to 12:00, according to the following road segments:

1. Prohibition of vehicle traffic within the framework of the running and organization of the sports activity "Tiranathlon", in the Helen park near Lake Farka, on Sunday, 28.05.2023, from 08:00 to 12:00, according to road segments as follows:

– "Tuneleve" street, (starting from the intersection of "Tuneleve" street with "Dajhit" street until the intersection of "Tuneleve" street with "Panorama e Liqeni" street),

- "Dajhit" street, (starting from the intersection of "Dajhit" street with "Shaqir Palushi" street, until the intersection of "Dajhit" street with "Vrapeve" street),

- "Diga e Liqeni" road, (starting from the intersection of "Panorama e Liqeni" road with "Diga e Liqeni" road, until the intersection of "Dagi" road with "Diga e Liqeni" road),

- "Panorama e Liqeni" road, (starting from the intersection of "Tuneleve" road with "Panorama e Liqeni" road, to the intersection of "Panorama e Liqeni" road with "Diga e Liqeni" road).

– Main interurban road (TEG – Shkozë Bridge)

– Zhan D'Ark Blvd., Gjergj Fishta Blvd., Bajram Curri Blvd. (the segment from the Shkoze Bridge – the palace with arrows).

2. The route of movement of vehicles of urban lines will be diverted as follows:

a. Line No. 1/A "Selitë - Kristal - Center - Train Station - Allias" and 1/B "Kodra e Diellit 2 - Kristal - Center - Train Station - Allias" deviates in one direction to "Wilison Square" the other to the center.

b. Line No. 2 "TEG - Old Sauk - Zoo - Former Train Station" diverts to "Illson Square".

c. No. 5/A "Former Tractor Plant - Center" is temporarily suspended.

d. No. 8 "Former Train Station - Center - New Sauk / Old Sauk / Sanatorium - TEG diverts to the "Economicum" roundabout.

e. Line No. 9 "Student City - Jordan Misja" deviates to the center.

p. Line No. 10/A "New Maternity - Center - Former Aviation Field" is temporarily suspended.

g. Line No. 13 "Tirana e Re" deviates to the "Bread Factory" roundabout and to the center.

h. Line No. 14 "The Ring" is temporarily suspended.
