Two fire outbreaks continue to be active in the territory of Korça District, specifically in the villages of Dishnicë (Korça Municipality) and Strelcë (Maliq Municipality).

The situation in both areas is under constant control, while forces on the ground are working to completely neutralize the flames.

Fire in the village of Dishnicë, Adm. Bulgarec – Municipality of Korça

The fire is active at low intensity. The rugged terrain and dense vegetation have made intervention difficult, but efforts to completely extinguish it are in the final stages. According to the head of the operation, the fire is expected to be neutralized within the day.
