Academician Rexhep Qosja passes away at the age of 89.

The news was announced by the academic's family, who announced that the funeral ceremony was also held privately.

The announcement made states that the family of academic Qosja will not participate in institutional events.

" We announce that today, on 23.4.2026, Rexhep Qosja passed away and was buried. The funeral took place in the presence of close family members. At the request of the deceased, no reception ceremony will be organized by the family. The family will not participate in institutional organizations. We ask that our privacy be respected and that we be allowed to mourn in peace, " writes Valjet Rexhepi, Rexhep Qosja's grandson./CNA
