Balluk Investigations/ SPAK Requests 3-Month Extension

The Special Prosecution Office has requested an extension of the investigation for former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku. Extension of the investigation has also been requested for former head of the Albanian National Agency for the Protection of the Environment, Gentjan Gjyli, and former director of KESH, Erald Elezi.

SPAK has justified the request by saying that it needs more time to conduct investigations. The initial deadline for investigations is 6 months.

The news about SPAK's request to extend the investigation was reported by journalist Klodiana Lala.

We remind you that the security measures "Suspension from duty" and "Prohibition on leaving the country" have been imposed on Belinda Balluku.

Meanwhile, the former head of ARRSH, Gjyli, and the former director of KESH, Elezi, are under the security measure "House Arrest".
