This Wednesday, the new director of Durres Prison, Serjan Mazrreku, was appointed.
Mazrreku replaces Edmond Llabani, who was appointed on January 15, who passed away in early April after a serious illness.
According to information, Mazrreku is nothing more or less than an individual who goes to both the Democratic Party and the Socialist Party, just to make a career.
With his new assignment, Mazrreku moves closer to Erion Veliaj in Durrës Prison, where the arrested mayor of Tirana has been held for more than a year, facing 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses.
Mazrreku previously worked in administration and practices the profession of lawyer, who will certainly serve the mayor a lot with his advice, along with 99-ç lawyer Plarent Ndreca.
Mazrreku is expected to be another 'servant' of Veliaj, despite having previously stated that he does not ask for any mayor.
"I've never had a problem with any mayor," Mazrreku declared.
Beyond his claims, there is no doubt that as a friend of Erion Veliaj, Mazrreku will be at the top of the Durrës Prison pyramid, whose management structures are closely linked to the arrested mayor of Tirana. /CNA
