Spring floods in Lezha/ Problems in the city

Heavy rainfall in recent hours has caused difficulties in several neighborhoods of Lezha, creating temporary flooding and traffic obstructions.

Among the most affected areas are the “Besëlidhja” and “Skënderbeg” neighborhoods, where the sewage system has not been able to cope with the large volume of water. As a result, water has accumulated in the streets and residential areas, especially in the “11 Janari” block.

Residents express concern about the situation, emphasizing that such floods often occur whenever there is intense rainfall.

Authorities acknowledge the problem and announce that work is being carried out to improve the water system, with the aim of avoiding similar situations in the future.
