The court session for the former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj is postponed to October 3, 2024.

The reason was the 4-hour extension of the session and the failure to finish the reading of the acts by SPAK.

Among other things, the former minister raised the claim regarding his call to testify at the Health Investigation Commission.

According to Beqaj, he raised the concern that he will have to break down in the commission all the acts and arguments, some of which constitute an investigative secret.

For this, he requested the opinion of the Court.

"I have been called to the Investigative Commission to present my claims and to give explanations to the deputies. Meanwhile, I have a security measure from another judging panel (for the SASPAC file), how much time will I be given to prepare my positions? This is not the biggest concern, as I will have to break down in the commission all the acts and arguments, a part of which constitute investigative secrecy, and my statements there may constitute a violation of the court's decision for non-disclosure of investigative secrecy. I want to know the position of the court", said Beqaj./ CNA
