The former deputy of the Democratic Party, Gerti Bogdani, died at the age of 44 after a cardiac arrest.

He was a deputy for two legislatures from 2009 to 2017, while also holding the position of head of the Youth Forum of the Democratic Party during the years 2009-2015.

However, Gerti Bogdani is not the only FRPD chairman who lost his life at a young age.

Before him, during the years 2002-2009, the position of head of the FRPD was held by Sokol Olldashi, who died at the age of 41 on November 20, 2013, after a car accident in Krrabë.

Meanwhile, during the years 2000-2002, the post of head of the FRPD was held by the former MP Kolin Gjoka.

He also died very young, at the age of 36, on February 1, 2002 after a serious illness./ CNA
