The police have come out with an official reaction regarding the eagle that was mistreated in a barbaric manner in the village of Buhal in Përmet.

The blues indicate that the bird was wounded and tied to the gate for the purpose of embalming it alive.

Currently, the work to identify the author has started, meanwhile, it is known that the eagle is receiving specialized medical help from the veterinarian.

The case, with a high public impact on social networks, was evaluated seriously and immediately by the Police services, which continue the investigative and procedural actions to identify and bring before the criminal responsibility, the author of this crime that is foreseen and punished by Article 207/ci of the Criminal Code.

The bird (eagle) is currently receiving specialized medical help from the veterinarian, who assisted the Police services during the actions to free the bird from the gate where it was tied.
