The Prosecutor's Office of Fier reacts to the protest of the fan employees

The Prosecutor's Office of Fier has reacted regarding a protest organized by the women of a fashion factory in Fier.

In front of the institution's building, they demanded that the report they made to the owners of the company for non-receipt of salaries for two months be taken into consideration as soon as possible.

The Fier Prosecutor's Office has clarified regarding the investigations for the criminal complaint of the group of employees against the subject OA shpk that on 09.08.2023, the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Fier has registered criminal proceedings no. 957, for the criminal offense "Provoked bankruptcy ”, provided by article 193, of the Criminal Code.

This criminal proceeding has been initiated on the basis of the criminal report submitted by a group of employees of the subject "OA" SH.PK, with administrator Mr. ET, who claim legal violations committed by this company regarding the non-payment of salaries and the closure of the activity.

As part of the investigations, a number of investigative actions have been carried out.

The criminal case is still under investigation and the work is continuing with the performance of other investigative actions in order to fully elucidate the incident and discover the truth./ CNA
